On 21 November, visiting international recruitment staff and agents from our offshore regional hubs in South Asia, the UAE, Pakistan, Southeast Asia, China, and Hong Kong came together as part of Familiarisation Week at UOW. The week was designed to support the new Global Recruitment Model and offered our offshore staff and agents a unique chance to immerse themselves in the student experience across our Wollongong and South Western Sydney campuses and Sydney Business School.
Our UOW Global Enterprises Executive Director of Global Student Recruitment, Kath McCollim, opened the festivities with an Acknowledgement of Country. She reflected on the previous Familiarization Week event back in September, emphasizing its success while expressing her excitement for the activities ahead.
