The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) is arguably Australia’s most successful offshore higher education institution.

As one of the United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s oldest and most prestigious universities, UOWD was established in 1993 as an English language centre by the University of Wollongong in Australia; it is currently ranked amongst the leading universities in the world.
