UOW Global Enterprises are delighted to announce that Mike Sneesby has joined the Board.

Mike brings an exceptional track record of leadership in the media and technology sectors, both in Australia and internationally. He was most recently appointed as Chief Executive Officer of MBC Group, the Middle East’s largest broadcaster, based in Saudi Arabia. Prior to this, Mike served as CEO of Nine Entertainment and was the founding CEO of Stan, leading the streaming service from concept to market leadership.

With extensive experience across digital media, telecommunications, and business development—including senior roles with ninemsn, Optus, and Intigral in Dubai. Mike's strategic insight will be invaluable as UOWGE continues to expand its global presence. Mike’s global experience, particularly in the Middle East, offers critical perspective as we look to the future and strengthen our international footprint

A proud University of Wollongong alumnus with an Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Mike also served on the UOW Council from 2022 to 2025, further deepening his connection to the University community.
