There was plenty to celebrate earlier this month at UOWGE! 🎉

Our staff came together on 16 September  for a morning tea to officially unveil our new name, UOW Global Education, and celebrate this exciting new chapter together.

Acting CEO Felix Lanceley shared what the name change means for our organisation, while we heard from our Chairman, John M. Green, who on Monday spoke about the important connection between our global success and the opportunities we create here at home.

While our name is changing, who we are is not. We remain proudly owned by the University of Wollongong, with the same purpose, values and commitment to transforming lives through education. We’ll continue to be known as UOWGE, with the “E” now standing for Education, reflecting who we are today and the global impact we are creating.

A big thank you to our wonderful staff for joining in the celebrations and for everything you do to make UOWGE what it is today. Here’s to the next chapter! 💙
