Earlier in September, UOW and UOW Global Enterprises welcomed a delegation from the Thai Binh Provincial Government. The visit, arranged by UOW College Australia alum Neil Pham of EduPass, was designed to explore future educational partnerships.
The day began with a warm welcome from Kath McCollim, our Executive Director of Global Student Recruitment, followed by a guided campus tour led by Tom Bambrick. The tour offered our guests a glimpse into life at UOW.
After the tour, an afternoon meeting was held to discuss various opportunities. Kath McCollim led the conversation on tertiary-level study abroad opportunities and potential scholarships. Heather Thomas, Deputy General Manager and Director of Global Programs at UOW College, highlighted the possibility of high school study tours and the development of a bilingual curriculum in Thai Binh.
The visit culminated in a productive exchange ideas and opened doors for potential collaboration. For UOW and UOW Global Enterprises, it was another step towards our ongoing commitment to international education and community engagement.
