Ms Judy Kin Yan KIU, Lecturer in the Faculty of Science and Technology, has won a Highly Commended award in the Faculty Award category of the UOW Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Outstanding Contribution to Teaching and Learning (OCTAL) at the University of Wollongong (UOW). In the outcome notification letter, Professor Theo Farrell, UOW Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education), said the OCTAL Awards Review Panel was impressed with Ms Kiu’s application and commended her on her passion and creativity for teaching and commitment to supporting students' learning through the creation of high-quality resources and the use of feedback to improve teaching.
