A high-level delegation from the Universities of Wollongong in Dubai and Australia joined senior UAE healthcare professionals to discuss how education institutions can help meet the critical needs of the sector, during a recent event staged at Expo 2020 Dubai.
In attendance at the event from the Dubai campus was University President, Prof Mohamed-Vall M. Salem ZEIN, Dr Feras Hamza, Head of School, Humanities, Social Sciences and Health, Dr Suzanne R. Malt, Program Director – Nursing and other academics who were joined by Professor Patricia Davidson, University of Wollongong (UOW) Vice Chancellor and President; Ms Marisa Mastroianni, Managing Director of UOW Global Enterprises and Group Chief Executive Officer and Professor David Currow, UOW Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Health and Sustainable Futures).
Hosted at the Australian Pavilion, under the patronage of Mr Justin McGowan, Expo 2020 Dubai Commissioner General for Australia, the event convened representatives from health organisations.
